Meta Business Manager Set-Up: Step By Step Tutorial

Meta Business Manager (formally Facebook Business Manager) allows you to manage all your business’ Facebook activity in one place. The Business Manager is a free tool that helps you keep your Facebook assets secure, organized, and separate from your team’s personal Facebook accounts. A key feature of the Business Manager is the ability to control who has access to your Facebook page, advertising, and other important business assets. As employees come and go, or agency partnerships change, you won’t have to worry about losing passwords or ownership. Check out our blog post about Business Manager to learn more about its benefits. How to Add your Page to Meta Business Manager

Note: To add a page to your Business Manager, you must be an admin for both the page and the Business Manager.

  1. In Business Manager, go to your Business Settings.

  2. In the Business Assets section, click Accounts, then Pages.

  3. Click Add in the drop-down menu and select Add A Page.

  4. Enter the URL of your Facebook page and click Add Page.

How to Add Employees to your Meta Business Manager

As we mentioned before, Meta Business Manager is a valuable tool for managing who has access to your page and other Facebook assets. With the Business Manager, you can give each of your employees the access they need, without giving them total control over your Facebook assets.

1. In Business Manager, go to your Business Settings.

2. Click on Add People.

3. Enter the email associated with your employee’s personal Facebook account.

Note: This will not allow coworkers to see each other’s personal Facebook accounts. This is necessary to verify everyone you add to your Business Manager.

4. Select the role you’d like to assign them. We recommend that most people you add should be granted Employee access, but you can also choose Admin access or advanced options such as Finance analyst and Finance editor. Click Next.
